BUILDING COMPETITIVE AND
MARKET READYMSMEs
The MSME Competitiveness and Industrial Productivity Program (MCIPP) is a 12-month initiative strengthening skills, structure, and standards across Aba's fashion and industrial ecosystem.
About MCIPP
The MSME Competitiveness and Industrial Productivity Program (MCIPP) is a strategic intervention designed to strengthen the productivity, formalization, and global competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Abia State, with a strong focus on the Aba fashion, garment, and leather ecosystem.
Aba has long been known for its craftsmanship, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. However, limited access to standardized skills training, certification, business formalization, and intellectual property protection has constrained its ability to compete at scale. MCIPP responds directly to these gaps.
Implemented by Ethnocentrique Limited and funded by the Abia State Government, MCIPP aligns with the administration’s vision to build a modern, skill-driven industrial base—one that positions Aba as a nationally and globally recognized hub for certified skills delivery and industrial productivity.
